We were comissioned to extend and refurbish a former a care home for elderly people, providing a 5-unit apartment development as a commercial development.
This regeneration project was for providing quality housing for young professionals and families in south London, where the need for housing is being urged. The five apartment units are designed as interlocking blocks from basement to second floor in a configuration that ensures no two are alike. This interlocking approach, maximised the space and utility for each unit, given limited footprint of the site.
The back garden, adjacent to railway tracks is also being sought for the next opportunity of regeneration of the site.
