Zinc house in the garden_2015

An old Doctors surgery was converted and extended as a Lifetime Homes compliant dwelling. Situated in possibly the most fabulous garden of a Grade II listed house in Central London, the starting point of the project was to define the garden as two distinct spaces each with their individual character, and to relate dwelling to each part in a different way. The east garden is the more contemporary of the two, with large French doors framed within a standing seam zinc clad enclosure. The connection to south garden is articulated through a series of tall doors which frame a central fireplace.  The project, completed in April 2015, also included the refurbishment of the main Grade II listed dwelling.
