This house, currently under construction in Northwood, London will provide a new home for a young family. The house occupies the site of an old coach house, and has a prominent position on a busy road. By contrast the garden behind is an oasis of calm. The house responds to both these conditions in different ways, providing a series of fixed windows and roof-lights to the rood, admitting sunlight but not the noise, and opening out toward the garden through a series of doors and windows which frame views. The project is due for completion summer 2015.
